In the evening we take reservations at 6pm, 6.45pm and 7.30pm. At lunchtimes we close at 4pm and in the evening we close at 11pm. When we can, on a Saturday, we are open throughout the day and take additional bookings at 3.15pm, 4pm and 5.30pm.

Throughout December we will be open additionally on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday lunchtimes. We will also be open for one festive Sunday special on Sunday 22nd December! We will then be closed so our team can enjoy the festive period with their loved ones from Monday 23rd December reopening for dinner on Thursday 2nd January.
What menus do you offer?
In the evening we just offer our full tasting menu (£145pp).
At lunchtime, we offer two tasting menus; our full tasting menu (£145pp) which is designed as a longer experience and our short tasting menu (£110pp) which is designed to be enjoyed in two hours. On Thursday lunchtimes (& Fridays through September) we also offer a set lunch menu (£60pp).
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
As we just offer set menus, we try to make the fewest number of changes possible when accommodating dietary restrictions, so that our guests may enjoy the experience as originally intended. If the dietary requirements dictate comprehensive changes in the menu that will result in a compromise of standards, we may not be able to accommodate your request. We are not able to make substitutions for aversions but we are able to make accommodations for certain common dietary restrictions (vegetarian, pescatarian (mostly vegetarian with some fish elements) vegan) but we must know when booking.
Due to some elements being integral to the menu, we are not able to eliminate them completely and therefore cannot cater for allergies to the following:-
Garlic, onion, vinegars, sugar, cooked alcohol & citrus
To keep waste to a minimum we only keep in stock what is on the menu at the time and so we will not be able to cater for unannounced dietary requirements.
We treat our guest’s safety with the utmost seriousness but due to the size of the kitchen and complexity of our menu we cannot guarantee that we work in a nut, dairy, gluten or allergen free environment and cannot guarantee against cross contamination. Therefore we cannot accommodate a severe or life threatening allergy (including coeliac disease). If this applies then please contact us directly to discuss before booking.
General booking information
Please note that we use both our ground floor dining room and first floor dining room for reservations. Tables of 6+ may be in our private dining room. For less able guests please call us to discuss our facilities. We are unable to accept children under 12 and babies as it is not a suitable environment. We do not have child friendly facilities and we wish to respect all of our diners’ experience. We do not have a formal guest code as we want our guests to feel comfortable but guests generally dress ‘smart casual’.
Cancellation Policy
Restaurant Twenty Two is an independent restaurant relying upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations. For tables of 1-2 guests we request 72 hours’ notice of cancellation or amendment. For tables with 4-5 diners we require 96 hours’ notice of cancellation or amendment and for 6 plus we require a full week’s notice. For all reservations, we require debit/credit card details. These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault. A charge of £80 per person will be made if you fail to show up to your reserved table or provide less than the required notice of cancellation. Unfortunately, our experience of parties failing to cancel or amend bookings, and the detrimental effect this has had on us, dictates that this precaution is now necessary.
