The restaurant has gained recognition and has been awarded the Michelin Red M (Bib Gourmande) 2008, and a 2 in the Good Food Guide. The restaurant has retained these accolades and continues to provide a fine neighbourhood restaurant. The converted Victorian house seats twenty six in the main restaurant and also has a private room for twelve people. The food is presented in the modern style using the best of classic French and English dishes, often incorporating Asian trends and fashions.

The philosophy of the restaurant is good food and wine at reasonable prices in a relaxed environment.

The wine list contains 80 bins incorporating the best that Europe, and particularly France can offer along with exciting new flavours from the New World. There is also a brief choice selection of approximately a dozen wines which change on a seasonal basis.
